THE Big Brothers Big Sisters 10K/5K/HALF-MILE RUN OR WALK!

This 6th annual 10k/5k/Half Mile walk or run event benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Blue Ridge’s mentoring programs will be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m on a stunning private farm in Free Union. *Location and directions will be emailed to participants the day prior to the event.*

This event is open to all. Great for avid runners, novice runners, walkers, families, youth or anyone who wants to make a difference in a child’s life.

Participants may choose to run in person on May 6th, 2023 or virtually from April 24th through May 6th, 2023.

Registration fees are $40 for 10k and 5k and $15 for half mile.

We are actively looking for race sponsors, running groups, individual runners and race day volunteers.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Blue Ridge (BBBS) was founded in 1981 and has served over 1,500 children in Central Virginia. The mission of BBBS is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our mentoring program helps build bridges and break down barriers by pairing one adult volunteer (Big) with one child (Little) and supporting each Big/Little match at every stage.
