If you’ve ever dreamed of skiing through white powder in the Alpines, biking through Mexico, encountering gorillas in the jungle, or slacklining through the clouds, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival is your place to experience those dreams– without leaving your seat. For over 20 years, the Banff World Tour has come to Charlottesville to immerse us in mountain sports, adventure, and culture through short films from around the world.
The Shenandoah National Park Trust is proud to bring the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour back to Charlottesville on Sunday and Monday, March 5th and 6th, at The Paramount Theater. There will be different films each night.
The Shenandoah National Park Trust is an official nonprofit partner of Shenandoah National Park, providing strategic investments in programs and initiatives that help protect, enhance, and preserve the resources of the Park for all to enjoy — for this and future generations. Profits from the sale of Banff Film Festival tickets support these programs and initiatives, from protecting black bears and other native flora and fauna to bringing kids and artists to the Park, funding seasonal positions and professional internships, and more.
Adventurer tickets are on sale NOW – CLICK HERE TO GET YOURS TODAY! With a donation to the Trust to support new and ongoing projects in the Park, ticket purchasers become members of our Adventurer Club and gain access to exclusive events and perks year-round.
Adventurer tickets are $75 for Sunday or Monday night, or $125 for a ticket to both nights. Adventurer Club members will gain early entrance to the theater, an invitation to the Banff Kickoff Party, invitations to special events with the Shenandoah National Park Trust, and acknowledgment as an Adventurer Club member in event materials.
