Scottsville, if pancakes are your love language, there’s a good reason to make plans for Saturday, May 2nd.

Scottsville United Methodist Church is inviting the community out for a Pancake Breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 that morning at 158 East Main Street in Scottsville. It sounds like one of those simple, sweet community gatherings that checks all the boxes. Good food, live music, and a chance to spend a little time with neighbors.

Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, and fruit, and there’ll also be live music from Kip Cook while you enjoy your meal. So it’s not just a quick bite and out the door, it’s a nice opportunity to slow down a little and enjoy the morning.

And while you’re there, they’re also encouraging folks to check out the preschool’s open house, along with the church’s bake sale. So whether you’re hungry, curious about the preschool, or just never met a bake sale you could resist, there’s a little something extra waiting for you.

Donations will be accepted, so you can come out, enjoy breakfast, and support the church and its community efforts at the same time.

Again, the Scottsville United Methodist Church Pancake Breakfast is happening Saturday, May 2nd from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. at 158 East Main Street in Scottsville. If you’d like more information, you can call 434-286-4736 or visit sumc-va.org.
