The Piedmont Virginia Community College Geology Club is excited to invite you to Rock Day on October 22nd!

Rock Day is a family-friendly event that aims to inspire geologic interest in our community.

We will have local food, a stream table, an informative rock display, scavenger hunts, fossils, and more!

Bring your own rocks and have a geologist identify them!

You could even leave with a beautiful, polished rock by entering the raffle!  All proceeds go to The Ivy Creek Natural Area.

All are welcome to join us on the PVCC campus from 2:00-4:00 on October 22nd for a fun and educational afternoon. Just follow the sign posted outside of the school!
