Empowering Families, Transforming Futures: Family Partners in Special Education Conference
The Piedmont Regional Education Program Parent Resource Center is excited to announce its FREE upcoming conference, Family Partners in Special Education: Empowering Families, Transforming Futures, taking place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Charlottesville Area Technical Education Center (CATEC), located at 1000 East Rio Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
This event will provide valuable resources and support to families of children with special needs and adults who are concerned about their child’s development. The conference will focus on fostering stronger partnerships between parents, caregivers, and educators in the special education system. Attendees will gain tools and strategies to help navigate the challenges and opportunities within special education.

- Workshops on Navigating IEPs: Understanding Individualized Education Programs and how to advocate for your child’s needs.
