Do you have a teen, age 14-18, who is interested in building lifelong leadership skills?
Nelson County 4-H invites you and your teen to our Teen Leader interest night on January 5th from 6-7pm.
This free informational session will be held in the Great Room of the Nelson Center. We will have previous Teen Leaders present to share what the experience has meant to them and why they plan to apply again this year.
Teen Leaders help in the camp planning process and go through training to prepare them to help supervise campers at our summer camp. This program is a great way for youth to gain volunteer hours and experience in the application and interview process.
We will have applications at this meeting for you to take home.
