Louisa County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Louisa Veterinary Service, and Louisa CART, every spring holds an annual Rabies Clinic to provide low-cost rabies vaccinations to the public (Not limited to Louisa County residents).
This year’s Spring Rabies Clinic will be a drive-through clinic like last year and will be held in the Louisa County Fairgrounds parking area on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, from 12:00-3:00PM.
Vaccines are $12.00 per animal. Please bring exact cash to the event. Credit Cards and Checks will not be accepted.
Enter the Louisa County Fairgrounds from Fredericksburg Ave.
  • Animals will remain in vehicles.
  • Dogs must be on leash during the event.
  • Cats must be in a carrier.
Animal Control will hand you your certificate and rabies tag.
Proceed through the line and exit on Church Ave.
Pre-registration for this event ends on March 31st, 2024, but extra vaccines will be available during the event until they run out.
