Representatives from Remote Area Medical—Tommy, Taylor, and Ria—stopped by the Community Cubbie to share details about a free medical, dental, and vision clinic happening March 21st and 22nd at the Augusta Expo in Fishersville.
This clinic is open to everyone—no ID, no insurance, and no income requirements—with services offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Patients can receive:
Dental care (cleanings, fillings, extractions)
Vision services (eye exams and glasses)
Medical exams and basic screenings
The parking lot opens by midnight Friday night, with clinic doors opening at 6 a.m. each day. Patients must remain on-site to keep their place in line, and service tickets are distributed based on arrival time.
Heads up: Dental and vision services are limited and may fill early, so plan to arrive as soon as possible.
Be sure to bring water, snacks, medications, and dress for the weather—there’s no indoor waiting area.
