If you’re looking for a fun way to kick off your Independence Day weekend, gather the family and head to The Freckled Flower Farm in Montpelier for an evening filled with hometown charm, great food, and a spectacular fireworks show.

Flowers & Fireworks returns Friday, July 3rd from 5 until 9 p.m. as part of America’s 250th Anniversary celebration, and admission is completely free.

Come hungry because you’ll find multiple food trucks, dessert and ice cream trucks, plus the Farm Bar serving beer, wine, cider, seltzers, and other refreshments.

There’ll be something for everyone, including the Freckled Flower Farmers Market, local vendors, flower picking, yard games, cotton candy, and the BUDdy Market, where young entrepreneurs will be showcasing their businesses.

Need to cool off? They’ve got two giant inflatable waterslides, including one for younger kids and another that’s open to both kids and adults.

As the evening winds down, everyone will gather for a patriotic celebration featuring the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, patriotic songs performed by local preschoolers, and a beautiful fireworks display lighting up the sky around 9 o’clock.

While admission is free, donations are appreciated and help The Freckled Flower Farm continue offering family-friendly community events throughout the year.

The Freckled Flower Farm is located at 18065 Mountain Road in Montpelier.

Celebrate America’s 250th surrounded by friends, neighbors, great food, and fireworks.
