If you’re looking for some good old-fashioned springtime fun for the kids, here’s a great event happening right here in Fluvanna County.

Happy Hollow Farms in Palmyra is hosting their Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28th, and it’s shaping up to be a fun morning for families with little ones.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Happy Hollow Farms, located at 912 Shores Road in Palmyra, and the egg hunts themselves get underway at 10:30.

Kids will be divided into two age groups, so everyone gets a fair shot at filling their baskets. There’s one hunt for ages one through four, and another for kids ages five through ten.

But the egg hunts are just the beginning.

Families can also enjoy visits with the farm animals, bounce houses for the kids, plus snacks and crafts to keep the little ones busy while they’re there. It’s a great chance for kids to run around, enjoy the farm atmosphere, and celebrate the season with plenty of springtime fun.

Tickets are ten dollars per child, and if you’ve got a tiny bunny in the family, children one year old and under get in free.

If you’d like more information about the Easter Egg Hunt at Happy Hollow Farms, you can find them on Facebook, or send them an email with questions at happyhollowfarmsva@gmail.com.

So grab the baskets, bring the kids, and head out to Happy Hollow Farms in Palmyra on March 28th for a morning full of eggs, animals, and family fun.
