If you’re looking for a way to give back and maybe test your bravery, mark your calendar for the Bold Rock Polar Plunge, happening Saturday, January 17th, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Bold Rock Hard Cider in Nellysford.

This is your chance to take the plunge into a cold creek for a great local cause — all to support the Rockfish Valley Fire Department, the folks who show up when the rest of us are running the other direction.

Here’s how it works: you can jump in yourself or just come out to cheer on the brave souls doing the plunging. Either way, it’s all about community, courage, and yes… cider. Participants get one free cider — hot, cold, or non-alcoholic — and a $20 sign-up score includes a piece of Bold Rock swag. Best of all, every dollar raised goes directly to benefit the Rockfish Valley Fire Department.

So think cold water, warm hearts, and good vibes all around. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your loudest cheering voice — and maybe a towel. It all goes down at Bold Rock Hard Cider, located at 1020 Rockfish Valley Highway in Nellysford.

Make a splash for a great cause with the Bold Rock Polar Plunge, Saturday, January 17th, 2 to 4 p.m.
