Imagine hundreds of happy Santas walking or running through Charlottesville’s most festive streets, and you’re visualizing The Arc’s annual Santa Fun Run.

This cherished community event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

The Run takes place along a one-mile route on the downtown mall.

Registration includes a Santa suit or elf ears, light refreshments before the race, and photo ops with The Arc’s very own Santa! Be a “Claus for a Cause” and bring your friends, families, wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs for a fun day walking, riding, or running in support of The Arc’s mission.

All proceeds from this merry event go directly toward helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Charlottesville and the surrounding community live fuller, more independent lives.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Adults – $25 / Children 4-12 years – $15 / 3 years and younger is FREE!

EVENT LOCATION:

The start & finish lines are at the Charlottesville Downtown Mall in front of Ting Pavilion

Registration check-in:

9:00 AM- 9:30AM
Run/Walk begins @ 10:00 AM
PICK UP YOUR SANTA SUIT EARLY:

Join us on Friday, December 5th, 4pm – 7pm at Random Row Brewery to pick up your Santa suit early!

Mention the Arc when you order a beer, and Random Row will donate a portion of proceeds to the Arc!

RUN DETAILS:

The Run Distance is approximately 1 mile

Enjoy lite snacks and cocoa starting at 9:00 AM before the run/walk begins. Participants will follow the 1-mile route beginning and finishing at Ting Pavilion on the Downtown Mall.

Spectators are welcome along the mall and along the 1-mile route. The Santa Run will take place rain, snow, or shine! Unfortunately, no refunds can be granted.
