Woodbrook Elementary School in Albemarle County invites you to its 9th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “Miles for Martin” event on Monday January 16th!

Meet at the track behind Woodbrook Elementary from 11:00 am – 1:00pm at Woodbrook Elementary School and walk for a cause!

This year Woodbrook Elementary School is choosing to support a local non-profit, African American Teaching Fellows. The AATF works to recruit African American teachers to serve the public schools of Charlottesville and Albemarle County.

Woodbrook Elementary is asking that you come out to walk for a cause of your own or our cause.  You can support our cause by making a monetary donation to support the mission and vision of African American Teaching Fellows.  If making a donation, please remember to include “WESMLKAATF23” after your name!

Woodbrook Elementary is proud to have two African American Teaching fellows as full-time teachers this school year.

This is a free, fun-filled, family- friendly event that is open to all. Hoping to see you there!
