If you’re looking for one of Central Virginia’s classic summer traditions, mark your calendar for the 75th Annual Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department Firemen’s Fair, happening August 12th through the 16th at the Brandy Station Fairgrounds in Culpeper County.
For 75 years, this hometown event has brought together families, friends, and neighbors for five days packed with rides, games, food, live entertainment, and community fun. The fairgrounds will once again come alive with colorful midway rides, carnival games, delicious fair favorites, and live music every evening.
Unlimited ride specials will be available daily, with wristband nights beginning Wednesday, August 12th. Organizers are also offering discounted ride wristbands online before the fair begins, making it even easier for families to enjoy all the action.
There are plenty of special events scheduled throughout the week, including the annual parade on Thursday evening at 6:30, a tractor pull on Saturday morning at 10, and cash prize giveaways Saturday night. Whether you’re coming for the rides, the food, the music, or simply the tradition, there’s something for every age to enjoy.
The fair takes place at the Brandy Station Fairgrounds on Fleetwood Heights Road in Brandy Station, August 12th through the 16th. Proceeds help support the Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department and the services they provide to the community throughout the year.
