Please join us for the 3rd Annual “Rowing for Responders” event at Pantops Station 16!
September is Suicide Prevention month, and this event helps to raise awareness of first responder mental health and wellness. To kick it off we want you to join us for our 24-hour rowing event!
Beginning September 2nd at 10:00am we start rowing on Concept2 stationary rowers, and we won’t stop until Sunday morning at 10:00.
This event highlights first responder mental health and raises money for a non-profit organization called “Next Rung“. “Next Rung” assists first responders and their families with free mental health services around the U.S.
Feel free to stop by and cheer us on, or if you would like to hop on a rower yourself for as little or as long as you like, we would love the company and support.
Come out and support a worthwhile cause and grab some grub that’s being grilled up by a local retired firefighter/caterer.
If you can’t make it, you can watch us on Albemarle Fire’s FB live.
