Bring your appetite and help support a great local cause at the Minutemen Motorcycle Club Annual Chili Cookoff, happening Saturday, October 10th at the Elks Lodge, 389 Elk Drive in Charlottesville.
Some of the area’s best chili cooks will be firing up their pots, with sampling beginning at noon. Admission is just $5 per person, and children under 12 are free.
And yes, 97.5 3WV’s Tawne will be there serving as one of the judges, so the competition had better bring the heat! 🌶️
This year’s cookoff will benefit Crystal Shifflett, who was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer in March 2025. Proceeds will help Crystal with the financial strain of treatment, copays, travel and other expenses.
Chili chefs are still needed! Team registration and cooking begin at 7 AM, and the entry fee is just $10 per team. For team entry forms, rules or more information, contact Ray at 540-406-1457 or Randy “Snowman” at 434-806-3310.
Come hungry, taste some fantastic chili, cheer on the cooks and help the Minutemen MC raise money for Crystal.
