Do you think you can put together the perfect March Madness bracket? If you can, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway and Quicken Loans will give you 1 billion dollars!
Now, the chances of you filling out a perfect NCAA Men’s Basketball March Madness bracket are 9.2 quintillion in one, but heck, it’s worth a shot. If you do it, you’ll get your choice of a cash payout of 500 million dollars or 40 annual installments of 25 million dollars each. In the unlikely event that two people have the perfect brackets, the prize money will be split evenly.
If you’re not quite perfect, you can still win. Quicken Loans will be awarding $100,000 each to the 20 closest, but imperfect brackets. The stipulation is that the prize money be used toward buying, refinancing or remodeling a home.
US citizens who are 21 and older are eligible to enter. The contest begins March 3rd and there’s no cost to enter. Quicken Loans has not yet provided a URL, but they suggest that you monitor their Facebook page and their Twitter feed for more details.
