Fall Out Boy bring album release forward to thank fans

Fall Out Boy have decided to reward fans by releasing their long-awaited album one month earlier than planned.

The “Dead on Arrival” rockers have been on a hiatus since 2009 but announced their return to the stage earlier this month, and they are thanking fans for the warm welcome by bringing the release date for their new album forward.

The band was due to unveil Save Rock And Roll in May but the record will now be released on April 15.

A statement posted on the band’s official website reads, “So when we got this all rolling (the band’s return) we didn’t expect it to be so crazy. But we weren’t kidding when we said we had the album done – so why wait? It means the world to us the way you have welcomed us back. Save Rock and Roll now out early, April 15/16 worldwide.”
