Wildlife Center Releases Another Bald Eagle

The Wildlife Center of Virginia released another bald eagle Thursday in King George County east of Fredericksburg. President Ed Clark (pictured) says the animal was struck by a car last month while it was feasting on road kill. Clark says Virginia’s bald eagle population now exceeds 1000. At one time, the Commonwealth had only 50 active nests.
