The Wildlife Center of Virginia released another bald eagle Thursday in King George County east of Fredericksburg. President Ed Clark (pictured) says the animal was struck by a car last month while it was feasting on road kill. Clark says Virginia’s bald eagle population now exceeds 1000. At one time, the Commonwealth had only 50 active nests.
