VMI Hikes Tuition For 2014-15

It will cost more to be a VMI cadet during the next academic year. The Board of Visitors has approved higher tuition, with in-state students paying another 5.9%. The new total for tuition, fees and room and board at the Lexington school (pictured) will be $7500. Out-of-state cadets will pay another 5.3%. VMI is the oldest state-supported military school in the nation.
