Virginia Women’s Basketball defeated No. 17 Florida State Sunday afternoon at John Paul Jones Arena 85-68 behind 26 points from Faith Randolph. Randolph poured in 20 before the break, as the Cavaliers shot 72% from three point range in the first half.
Defensively the Cavaliers forced 27 Seminole turnovers leading to the comfortable victory. Sr. guard Ataira Franklin recorded a double double with 18 points and 10 rebounds on the afternoon.
Next up Virginia takes on No. 6 Maryland in Charlottesville Thursday evening.
