Virginia Population Growth Slows

Population growth slowed down a bit in Virginia last year. But the rate outpaced the rest of the U.S. The UVA Weldon Cooper Center says Virginia’s population grew by less than 1% during 2013. It had the 14th highest rate in the nation.¬†Two of the fastest growing localities in the state are Fredericksburg and Harrisonburg.
