The Virginia Men’s Basketball Team earned a 62-50 win in Tallahassee Florida to improve to 10-4 (1-0 ACC) and ended a ten game losing streak on Florida State’s home floor. ¬†Virginia gathered 17 offensive rebounds and only committed 6 turnovers to overcome poor free throw shooting and losing Joe Harris to a head injury for the majority of the game. ¬†UVA Head Coach Tony Bennett told Dave Koehn, “We’re gonna have to win with toughness and defense…college basketball is funny…you can lose by 30 and then show up and beat a good physical Florida State Team.”
