Virginia Landmarks Register Gets New Entries

There are¬†more additions to the Virginia Landmarks Register, including places in the Shenandoah Valley and the Commonwealth’s largest city. The Melrose Caverns and Harrison Farmstead on Route 11 in Rockingham County have¬†joined the list. The Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach also has been added. The Cavalier dates back to 1927 and is the last pre-World War II hotel that’s left standing in Virginia Beach.
