Virginia Firefighters Take Off For Oregon

22 firefighters from the Virginia Department of Forestry are on the West Coast this week. These full and part-time employees have gone to Oregon where large wildfires have threatened many homes and businesses. Many of the Virginia firefighters have headed west before for special assignments.
Since 2005, they have helped to suppress fires in California, Texas, and Oklahoma.
