Virginia Basketball Makes History Defeating Notre Dame 70-49

Led by three players in double figures, the Cavaliers earned their 11th straight win, and achieved the best ACC start in program history earning a 70-49 win over Notre Dame at the John Paul Jones Arena.  Anthony Gill and Akil Mitchell paced the Cavaliers with 15 points, and Malcolm Brogdon added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.  Virginia’s 14-1 ACC record is the best 15 game ACC run in the history of the program, they improve to 23-5 and will host Miami on Wednesday night at 7pm.  Coverage on WINA will begin at 6:30pm.
