The University of Virginia has released a new report that highlights the diversity of the Commonwealth. Meredith Gunter of the University’s Weldon Cooper Center says the median household income in Northern Virginia tops $102,000. No other region comes close. 6% of the households in Northern Virginia fall below the poverty line. All of the state’s other regions, including ours, have poverty rates that are in double digits. Gunter was a Tuesday guest on the Morning News with Rick and Jane.
