UVA Marching Band Invited To 2015 Macy’s Parade

Students in the University Of Virginia Marching Band have many reasons to celebrate. To their surprise, UVA officials had submitted an application for the Cavaliers to play in November 2015 at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Wesley Whatley, who represents the Macy’s Parade, says 175 bands applied and UVA is on the list of ten schools that were invited. The Wahoo students now has 18 months to raise the money for a trip to New York City.
