Tysons Corner Movie Megaplex Evacuated After Bottle Bomb Goes Off

A Fairfax County movie theater complex was evacuated early Sunday after someone set off a bottle bomb. It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at the AMC Tysons Corner 16 as a midnight showing of the new X-Men movie was nearly complete. Mike Reilly of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue notes this was the second time this month that the Tysons Corner 16 was victimized. There were two explosions on May 18th when the same megaplex had screenings of the latest Godzilla movie in two of its theaters.
