Two Virginia airline passengers were arrested Friday after they brought handguns to airports. It happened in Henrico County and Lynchburg. Representatives of the Transportation Security Adminsitration arrested a Chesterfield County man who brought a loaded .22 caliber gun loaded with two rounds, plus additional ammunition, to Richmond International Airport. There was a separate incident involving a Bedford County resident with a loaded .45 caliber gun at Lynchburg Regional. In both cases, TSA officers detected the guns inside carry-on bags as they passed through X-ray machines.
Monday afternoon Virginia Baseball had its name called during the NCAAT Selection Show and it will be featured in UC Santa Barbara's Region as the #3 seed. The Hoos will open up play against #2 seed Southern California, while #4 seed San Diego State will match up with the host #1 UC Santa Barbara.
