A head-on collision kills two in Buckingham. It happened at around 6 o’clock Wednesday night on Route 15 in Buckingham about a mile south of Route 715 near Arvonia. State Police say two drivers were killed when a car tried to pass a pickup hauling a trailer in a no-passing zone. That car hit an oncoming car head-on. The victims were 28-year-old Shedrick Q. Anderson of Bremo Bluff and 74-year-old Carolyn L. Whittaker of Scottsville. State Police say Anderson was the driver who pulled out across the double-yellow line and caused the collision. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
