Suspect Accused Of Damaging Vehicles With Fire Extinguisher

Charlottesville Police have charged a man with breaking into an apartment building and damaging several cars. Police say 22-year-old William Wallace Frye (pictured) of McMinnville, Tennessee is accused of using a fire extinguisher to smash into a building in the 200-block of Garrett Street. Police say he then used the extinguisher to damage several vehicles that were in the ground-level parking area in the building. Officers arrested Frye at around 4 a.m. Saturday. He was charged with vandalism and breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony.
