Another Public Hearing On Western Bypass

The Albemarle supervisors will hold another public hearing on the proposed western bypass. Comments will be taken during a special meeting of the board on Wednesday, February 19th at 4 p.m. The hearing will continue as long as everybody has a chance to speak, and you can sign up anytime when you get there. Supervisor Ken Boyd, a bypass supporter, objected. Boyd says there’s been ample opportunity to offer feedback on the road. Other supervisors who are opponents┬ásay there should be as much public comment as possible, especially since several of them ran on an anti-bypass platform.
