Another Public Hearing On Western Bypass

The Albemarle supervisors will hold another public hearing on the proposed western bypass. Comments will be taken during a special meeting of the board on Wednesday, February 19th at 4 p.m. The hearing will continue as long as everybody has a chance to speak, and you can sign up anytime when you get there. Supervisor Ken Boyd, a bypass supporter, objected. Boyd says there’s been ample opportunity to offer feedback on the road. Other supervisors who are opponents say there should be as much public comment as possible, especially since several of them ran on an anti-bypass platform.
