University of Virginia student Elizabeth Daly has let state officials know she will file a civil lawsuit over last year’s arrest by ABC agents.  Daly is the Henrico County woman who was confronted last April 11th by ABC agents after they mistook the sparkling water she bought in a grocery store for beer. She contends she and two sorority sisters panicked that night at the Barracks Road Shopping Center because ABC representatives were not in uniform and one pulled a gun. A spokesman for the Virginia Department of Treasury has told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that Daly’s notice is asking for unspecified damages.
