You’ve probably seen one on a car in front of you or have one yourself. A specialty license plate with a symbol favored by the Tea Party is a big seller in Virginia. The Virginian-Pilot reports that almost 22,000 vehicles in the state are sporting the “Don’t Tread on Me” license plate. That makes it 9th on the popularity list among more than 200 specialty tags. The plate is the one with the Revolutionary War-era flag of a coiled rattlesnake above the slogan.
