Small Tornadoes Hit Parts Of Tidewater

There were three tornadoes in southeastern Virginia over the weekend.  While all three received the state’s lowest rating, they did do their fair share of damage. Two tornadoes in Isle of Wight County downed trees and power lines, with trees falling onto several homes and vehicles. That was on top of the damage to barns and outbuildings.  The funnel cloud in Hampton severely damaged a school maintenance building.
