Shirley Jones Comes To Richmond For Family-Friendly Movie

The Partridge Family might not be coming to Virginia, but Oscar-winner Shirley Jones has flown into Richmond to star in a family-friendly film called “On the Wing”, and Corbin Bernsen of L.A. Law fame is her co-star. Actors from across Virginia will fill many roles, as will as an almost entirely Richmond-based crew. “On The Wing” tells the story of a group of teens in a D.C. student program who decide to fight a devious U.S. Senator’s plan to slaughter bald eagles to get at the oil under a wildlife refuge. The screenplay was a finalist at the International Family Film Festival.
