The State Senate has approved a measure that adds somebody to the sex offender registry if they solicit a teenage prostitute. Delegate Rob Bell says his bill targets human trafficking of children as young as 13. The measure goes back to the House of Delegates for amendments and then to Governor McAuliffe. Bell has a companion measure dealing with assets of human traffickers. That’s being reviewed in the Senate.
