The Albemarle School Board has voiced interest in a more aggressive capital improvements program. That could mean additional capacity for some county schools. Other schools could be in line for modernization, even if they don’t get extra capacity. Board members Eric Strucko (pictured right), Steve Koleszar (pictured center) and Kate Acuff (pictured left) have shared their views on upgrading county school buildings. The school board will discuss capital improvements later in the year with the Albemarle Supervisors.
