Santiago Family Calls Off Weekend Vigil

The family of missing Albemarle resident Bonnie Santiago called off a scheduled Saturday night vigil on Carter Mountain south of the city. They had unexpected problems gaining access to the site. The 56-year-old Santiago (pictured) was last seen on Carter Mountain July 12th. Albemarle Police still consider Santiago’s disappearance as a missing persons case. Santiago is 5’4″ and weighs 175. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
