Road Projects This Week Could Affect Traffic

Road Projects This Week Could Affect Traffic

It’s the unofficial end of summer, but work on the area roads is not stopping. VDOT is installing a communication line in the median of I-64. The left shoulder on both sides will be closed Wednesday and Thursday during the daylight hours. That work is between the Crozet exit and mile-marker 94 in Augusta County. Another VDOT project is taking out some pavement markings and patching up the road from east of the Ivy exit to the Keswick exit. That project is going on through Friday. Crews are also replacing a pipe this week on 29 North between Polo Grounds Road and Ashwood Boulevard. Look for one lane to be closed occasionally on northbound 29.
