Regional Library System Has New Budget

A new budget will begin July 1st for the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library system. The library trustees will welcome the new Northside branch early next year on West Rio Road, and longer hours are coming to the Crozet and Louisa County branches. Library Director John Halliday (pictured, center) says the nearly $7 million spending plan will be the best new budget since 2008. The trustees adopted the new budget on Monday.
