Push For Local Solar Power Underway

“Soak up the sun and soak up the savings.” That’s the buzz phrase for a 90-day program launched to help Charlottesville and Albemarle homeowners do just that by streamlining the process and reducing to price of going solar. Jack Wilson already has, and he says his last monthly electric bill was $28 compared to two of his neighbors paying $240 and $260. Wilson points out it’s also much cleaner.
