Former Charlottesville school board member John Pezzoli will be the state’s next commissioner of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. James Stewart III is retiring at the end of Governor McDonnell’s term. Pezolli (pictured) will serve as acting commissioner until a permanent replacement is named by governor-elect Terry McAuliffe.
