Eight years and ten months in federal prison, and 20 years probation. That’s the sentence for onetime University of Virginia associate dean Michael Morris, who pleaded guilty in the spring to distributing or receiving child pornography. Morris (pictured) used the screen name “funshooter2006.” He was arrested in November following an FBI raid of his Albemarle home. Federal prosecutors say Morris was caught logging on to a child pornography site nearly 200 times in a ten-month period. At the time of his arrest, Morris was an associate dean at UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce. He was sentenced Monday at the Vinegar Hill federal courthouse.
