North Carolina Man Survives Plane Mishap In Louisa

State Police say a North Carolina man survived a crash landing of his small plane in Louisa County. Police say Dean Richards of Creedmoor, North Carolina, had a landing gear malfunction and the plane’s nose gear collapsed. Richards and a passenger got out of the plane with no injuries. The landing happened at 9:20 a.m. Sunday at the Lake Anna Airport on Kentucky Springs Road. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were notified.
