Dave Norris has attended his final meeting as a City Councilor. Norris will retire from elected office at the end of this month, and fellow Democrat Bob Fenwick will join the council for its January 6th meeting. The 43-year-old Norris (pictured) is the last current councilor who won a seat during a spring election. He was elected along with former Vice-Mayor Julian Taliaferro in May 2006, and won his second term in November 2009. Norris served as Mayor from January 2008 until December 2011.
