Thomas Jefferson’s home will hold its annual July 4th celebration Friday. It will mark the 52nd annual naturalization ceremony where dozens become new U.S. citizens. The event will start at 9 a.m. Friday. Monticello says visitors can park as early as 6:30 a.m. at PVCC, and shuttle buses will leave the Piedmont parking lot beginning at 7:30. The ceremony welcomes 73 people from 39 nations. They’ll hear from guest speaker David Rubenstein, a regent at the Smithsonian Institution and the Vice-Chair of the Council on Foreign Relations.
