The family and friends of a missing Albemarle woman held a “Beep for Bonnie” event Saturday near Carter Mountain. The last time anyone saw 56-year-old Bonnie Santiago (pictured) was July 12th. Her loved ones greeted drivers with hand-painted signs and distributed Santiago’s picture near the intersection of Routes 53 and 20 South. Anyone with information about Santiago is asked to call the Crimestoppers at 977-4000.
