Man Wounded In Shooting On Charlton Avenue

City Police say a man was shot and wounded early Monday on Charlton Avenue. It happened shortly after midnight in the 900-block of Charlton. City Police found a 23-year-old man was the victim of a shooting. He was taken to UVA Hospital for treatment of what police describe as injuries that are not life-threatening. Police are investigating what led to the shooting.
